During the initial ‘idea’ stage, we take your brief and bring it to life, interpreting your vision by weaving together everything discussed during the briefing process. We consider this the most crucial stage, as every great design begins with a strong idea.

At this stage, we create a concept design that includes furniture selections, a basic lighting layout, mood boards, and photographs or sketches of chosen furniture and fittings. This serves as a visual representation of what we believe to be your ultimate ‘wish list’—a foundation for your dream space.

As the design takes shape, it naturally evolves through a series of stages. Once we present and refine the ideas together, we transition beyond the concept stage into design development, where the finer details begin to emerge.

Following the concept design, necessary revisions are executed to prepare a developed design. At this stage we prepare technical designs and drawings to correspond with the mood boards. They convey the design ideas and properly demonstrate the general arrangements and layouts produced as a result of space planning.

Detailed 3D rendered drawings, decorative lighting plans and elevations are formed to give guidance and a strong visual for you to understand the design direction.

Material selection of the fixed hard finishes such as flooring, windows, ironmongery, internal doors and architraves, moldings and fixed joinery usually happens at this stage as well.

We provide a full procurement service for this part of the process and look after ordering and deliveries. We have trade accounts worldwide so you can be sure you are not purchasing items above the recommended retail pricing. Once we are informed of your estimated spend we always aim to keep the furniture, fixtures, and equipment within your budget.

Over the years we have curated an extensive list of suppliers and our love of sourcing distinct and unique pieces gives our projects an eclectic yet timeless quality – full of personality.

Design project management stage covers being on site when needed to deal with situations that may arise or indeed instructing and overseeing interior design elements being carried out on site. We will work closely with your appointed building team to ensure the design plans are being respected. Please note however, our role is not the role of site supervisor.

We work with a number of reputable trade’s people, including joiners, carpenters and decorators located throughout Ireland. To deliver a seamless service, we prefer to manage all aspects of the interior design from initial concept throughout to onsite implementation; this does not extend to managing building works outside of the interiors scope. At the end of each stage, we inspect the works and arrange for any defects to be remedied by the contractor.

Once handover is completed, we still keep in touch. ‘Settling down’ time allows you to identify any further items that need resolving, and we stay with you throughout this phase to ensure that the space is working for you the way you want it to.
