From Showhouse to Soulful Home

Set within a well-constructed and nicely fitted property, this project focused on transforming a stylish yet impersonal home into a refined, characterful sanctuary. While the architectural integrity and high-end finishes were unquestionable, the existing palette of dark greys, graphite, and black created a sombre mood throughout. Our mission was to reimagine the interiors—introducing warmth, colour, and personality without compromising the home’s elegant foundation.

Each room was thoughtfully reworked to better reflect the lifestyle and tastes of the homeowner. The open-plan kitchen, dining, and living area was softened with lighter finishes, vibrant accents, and tactile textures, enhancing both sociability and comfort. We reimagined the rarely used living room as a gentleman’s study and den—a bright, multifunctional space ideal for both relaxation and creative pursuits.

The master bedroom was designed as a restful retreat, with a rich, cocooning palette that feels both masculine and inviting. To enhance functionality, the adjacent former study was transformed into a dedicated walk-in dressing room, providing generous wardrobe space. Meanwhile, the guest rooms were enlivened with fresh colour and playful accents, adding warmth and character to these welcoming spaces.

With updated lighting, integrated design details, and carefully chosen soft furnishings, the home now feels inviting, expressive, and truly lived in. The homeowner’s hobbies and interests were central to the design approach—his love for cars, cycling, and mountaineering is subtly woven throughout the interiors. From curated artwork and accessories to the thoughtful placement of personal collections, the space now tells a story that is both individual and inspiring.
